OUR STORY

Save The Seeds Foundation was created in 2018, in reaction to the growing climate change crisis. We are located in the PNW, working towards a common goal to build a community seed bank, encourage planet Earth's overall health, protect sacred knowledge and self sustainability.

Now is the time for communities to come together. With GMO science and plant genome patenting, our ability to grow, produce, save, regrow and sustain ourselves has never been so important. We have implemented a three phase plan for our success.

PHASE ONE

Phase One will see Save The Seeds Foundation obtaining land within the Cascadian Subduction Zone, west of the Cascadian Mountain Range.

This unique climate has one of the best chances of maintaining a wide array of plants through changing climate conditions.

PHASE TWO

Phase 2 will involve a staff of experts:

Horticulturalists,

Permiculturalists,

Master Gardners,

Farmers,

Environmentalists,

and Teachers

Each will be employed to produce a sustainable, working, living, seed library, and educational facility that can be used by the world at large as a multi faceted resource.

This includes growing, harvesting, utilizing, storing and replanting heirloom seeds, to maintain and sustain a living seed library.

PHASE THREE

Phase 3 will see us creating the programs that will see Save The Seeds Foundation fully realize it's scope.

A: Work with local, national, and world communities teaching classes on localvorism, community gardening, and techniques of permaculture and self sustainability.

B: Work with universities to become a center for work/credit exchange for those getting into the field of permaculture and sustainability

C: Maintain a library of seeds specifically for farmers who have lost their crops through natural disaster or climate change, so that they may restart their farms.
