Seed banks have become a necessity in today's world. Save the Seeds Foundation makes it a high priority to preserve heirloom seeds. In doing this, we ensure the survival of plants that are more resistant to diseases, drought tolerant, have nutritional quality, taste great, etc. Our seed library preserves historical value and genetic diversity.
Unfortunately, due to natural disasters, war and plant diseases, not all of the world's public seed banks have persevered. Which is why it is so important that we be successful in our mission.
